Layer Cake Pinot Noir 2011
Wine AdvocateThe 2011 Pinot Noir emerges from the glass with plums, black cherries, menthol, cloves and dried herbs. The 2010 impresses for its textured, layered personality. There is plenty of depth, resonance and sheer character in the glass. This racy, super-ripe Pinot is best suited for drinking over the next few years. It is another delicious wine for the money. The fruit is sourced from a variety of vineyards in the Central Coast, Sonoma and Carneros. Anticipated maturity: 2013-2016.
