Starborough Sauvignon Blanc 2014
|Region||New Zealand, Marlborough|
Wine Review Online
This lip-smacking, classically styled Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc delivers far more than its price would suggest. It's admirably complex, with generous lime, grapefruit, kiwi fruit and green melon aromas and flavors."
Offers plenty of lime notes, with grapefruit, lemon zest and tangy dried apricot flavors. Fresh and vivid, showing crisp acidity and presenting a touch of fresh herbs on the finish. Drink now. 370,000 cases imported.
The 2015 version of this wine has scored big in New Zealand wine competitions, but this vintage is best consumed soon. It still retains a lovely, slightly creamy texture, but the aromas and flavors are trending toward sweet peas and green tomatoes. Drink up.
